Lending Library
The Lending Library is a circulating library that operates via US Mail. The collection consists primarily of out-of-print and hard-to-find books including a complete run of the Friends of the Origami Center of America and OrigamiUSA Newsletters, The Paper, and Convention Programs/Annual Collections. Here's your chance to find instructions for that rare, out-of-print model you found in the Origami Database!
Most of the books are in English. A few are in other languages, including Japanese, Spanish, and Italian. The Lending Library runs on a cost-recovery basis. Borrowing charges cover postage, packing materials, return postage, and delivery tracking and confirmation.
To borrow from the collection you must:
- Be a current member of OrigamiUSA (and your membership must be current for the next 60 days)
- Reside in the United States
The service uses PayPal for online payment of the borrowing charges. If you cannot or do not want to use PayPal, please see this FAQ.
- Read the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs). Please read these before you make a borrowing request.
- View Collection and Borrow Books
OrigamiUSA also maintains a Reference Library. For additional information see here.
