An icosadedron is a regular polyhedron with 20 faces. Imagine a spiky version of this and you have a stellated icosahedron! Deanna will teach two versions of Sonobe-type units and students can choose which unit they wish to fold to make the shape. She will teach assembling the 30-piece model with a color pattern—5 colors, 6 each. There should be time to learn the other units to make more at home.
