Description

The North Atlanta Origami Group is open to new members ages 18+. Share your work, learn techniques, teach each other, and enjoy folding in the company of other enthusiasts.
At the present time, our meetings are held online via Zoom, and are open to all. Follow us by joining North Atlanta Origami Group at FaceBook Groups.
We will typically fold models at simple or intermediate levels.

THIS MONTH:
Deanna Kwan teaches a banded cube designed by Tomoko Fuse and Richard Ellison teaches "See-saw" designed by Fred Rohm. Nancy will be teaching a pentagonal blow spin (spinning star) designed by Ali Bahmani.
Paper needed:
Banded cube - 6 squares of kami, duo preferred although a white band is nice too. 6 inch paper results in a 3 inch cube; 4 inch paper results in a 2 inch cube.
Seesaw - 1 square of sturdy paper between 6"-9". Kami is too thin. 6" Tant, 7" printer paper, 9" Elephant Hide or similar.
Pentagonal blow spin - 1 sheet of kami, 9.5 inches or larger; scissors for cutting a pentagon. This can be done with smaller paper, but it will be more difficult to fold.

Please email ellisonorigami [at] gmail.com if you
a) would like to be on our agenda to teach a model or demonstrate a technique
b) would like to fold something at the high-intermediate or more complex level, or have a specific request.
