THE PROGRAM OF OKS 2017
OKS 2017 will be held on 7 April 2017 from 10 am to 5 pm in the elementary school 22. lipnja, 27 Franjo Lovrić Street, Sisak, Sisačko-moslavačka county, Croatia, Europe.
At 10.00 h – Gathering of the participants, competitors and guests – tea will be served.
At 10.30 – The opening ceremony of the first OKS 2017 with the opening of the exhibition of the eminent contemporary Croatian origami artists: Krešimir Rajki and Dragutin Gerić and some other artists together with some young origami artists from Sisak.
From 10.45 to 11.15 - The competition in 3D cubes of modular origami with 6 modules.
From 11.30 to 12.00 The competition in flying of origami planes – free style models.
From 12.00 to 12.45 The workshops for visitors – more workshop will be held in several classrooms simultaneously according to the schedule handed out to the visitors. There will be 3 levels: beginners, medium, advanced.
From 13.00 to 13.15 - The closing ceremony of the competition- the best teams will be awarded.
At 13.30 The lunch break for competitors, mentors, workshop instructors and lecturers.
From 14.30 to 16.00 The OKS seminar with these lecturers and themes:
• Nada Tušak, mag. prim. educ. An origamist and the initiator of the first OKS with the presentation entitled : „Origami yesterday, today, tomorrow“,
• Anamarija Popović, dipl. ing. Agr. will talk about the Kansan cherry tree and the Japanese horticulture.
• dr. sc. Daša Poredoš Lavor will have a lecture on „The experience in applying origami techniques in order to develog social skills.”
• Krešimir Rajki, designer and the origami origami artist and the initiator of the project „1000 cranes for Hirshima” in Croatia will speak about the past of the paper and the project mentioned previously.
At 16.00 The Japanese calligraphy workshops
At 17.00 A sightseeing tour around Sisak accompanied by a tourist guide, supported by an android/i-phone application Vision one.
