Description

[In this session]
Jeannine will discuss her minimalist aesthetic (less is more) and explain how applying seemingly arbitrary and ridiculously tight constraints (no more than 4 folds!) can actually open up one’s thinking in a way that expands your horizons. She will provide specific examples of how she created some of her favorite designs after being challenged (or challenging herself) to do something that seemed impossible. Like the time a blind folder in Colombia asked her to teach him to make the Bud, a model that requires prescoring a printed crease pattern, and how while wrestling with this request, she came up with a better way to teach everyone how to make it.

Please Support Origami Talk
Organizing Origami Talk is a huge load of work. Any amount of your donations goes a long way in encouraging me to continue the project. That's why the tickets are Donation based. You can change it to the amount you like to support the Origami Talk project. Promo codes are also still in effect. So if you have it feel free to use it.

You can also support the project by sharing the event on your social media or inviting your friends to the meeting and talking about it.

Looking forward to see you,
