These four Double Rhombus patterns (Stars, Trellis, Weave, and Swirls) were discovered between in May 2020. They represent the first explorations of a family of tessellations, and are all chiral (rotation direction matters).
The Stars and Swirls patterns can be folded directly from the grid, but only if you're already comfortable folding Just Rhombi by Peter Keller straight from the grid. The Trellis and Weave patterns require extensive precreasing and clips for the collapse.
Crease patterns show several repeats of the motif. Red lines represent mountain folds and blue dashed lines represent valley folds.
