The Bulldog Bookmark was created, oddly enough, when playing with a module I had designed for geometric construction. I was working on variations of the module and ended up using the flat module as a bookmark. I played around with the one face of the module, and it looked like a dog; after tweaking the design it looked like a bulldog. It was fun to create, as most of what I designed were tessellations, boxes, and a few dollar bill folds.
