Just in time for the holiday season! Candace will teach a variety of simple seasonal models including a tree, a candy cane, a dove candy dish and others as time permits. No experience necessary. For children 5 and up. Children ages 5-8 must be accompanied by an adult also registered to take the class. Adults not accompanying children are also welcome!

These dazzling stunners have been featured on the AMNH Holiday Tree for decades. Generations of museum goers have been amazed by their scintillating beauty. Learn to fold the star using the same holographic paper as seen on the tree. First, you’ll fold the 5-pointed model out of a pentagon, then the original 4-pointed version if time permits. Folders should be comfortable with petal folds and open sinks.

This jaw-dropping gem will surely be a highlight of your holiday season! Nobuko will teach her original modular ornament out of 16 squares. The class will use regular 6’ paper but you can challenge yourself at home with smaller decorative papers. The only problem will be what colors to choose to impress your friends and family.

Can you believe it only takes 6 pieces of paper to make this?! How is that possible? Well, Kathy has the answer and will gladly share it with you. This design by Nguyen Uyen puts the spotlight on a twist rose, so it is helpful if students are familiar with a twist collapse. Hang them up in a cluster for a fantastic bouquet.
