This polyhedron compound famously appears in an M.C. Escher woodcut, "Waterfall" (1961). Mathematically, it is also a stellation of the rhombicuboctahedron. To fold one from origami, use 48 sheets (24 in dimensions 29:34 and 24 in dimensions 41:72); to best visualize the three cubes intersecting, use three different colors. This model works well folded from kami, Stardream, Tant, or Elefantenhaut.
