This is the scheduler for the shared Zoom videoconferencing room provided by OrigamiUSA for Community Origami Groups (COGs). You can schedule a Zoom meeting for your local group for 1, 2, 3, or 4 hours for up to 100 attendees. We recommend you first read Zoom's Terms of Service. Zoom asks for you to be at least 16 years old to use their product.
You do not need to be a member of OrigamiUSA to use this resource, nor does your Community Group need to be part of OrigamiUSA; but the host of a meeting needs to be registered on this website (i.e., have a username and password). If you don't have one, please register here.
The Zoom room is shared, so only one meeting at a time can be held; you'll need to select a time that isn't already being used. Select the "Schedule a COG meeting" below to choose a date and time; the calendar below that shows the times that are already taken. See here for detailed instructions for how to do this.
When you schedule your meeting, you'll enter your own name and email address, and you will be emailed a confirmation link that contains details and the Zoom meeting link. It also contains buttons (near the bottom) to reschedule or cancel the meeting. Keep this email! it's the only way to change the meeting.
You can forward the Zoom meeting link to your group's members (though you shouldn't forward the entire email with the cancel/reschedule buttons). After you've completed the scheduling in the Calendly popup window, refresh this web page and you should see your event appear on the calendar.
If you are willing to open your meeting to the public, please post its details on the OrigamiUSA Calendar of Events. You can include the Zoom meeting link from the confirmation email if you wish; it will be protected from web crawlers, but people registered on the OrigamiUSA website will be able to see the meeting link.
