Are you a lone folder, wondering if there are any other people who share your magnificent obsession with origami? Are you moving to a new area and wondering if you can get together with other folders? You may not be as alone as you think! There are folding groups in cities all over the country—indeed, all over the world!—and origami people are famous for their friendliness and willingness to share tips, techniques, and ideas for folding!

So, if you'd like to see if there's a folding group nearby, you can check out our list of Community Origami Groups and Societies by using the links below. You'll find locations, contact information, and dates and places where they hold their meetings. Note that all of the lists can be sorted by any column—click on the arrows in the column titles. If you spot anything that needs updating, please let our Groups Editor know via email at community-groups [at] origamiusa.org.

Add Your Group to our List

If you would like to have your Community Origami Group or Society listed, you can create your own listing.

To create an Origami Group listing, please sign in to your website account and come back to this page. If you don't have an account, you can register for one here.

You can update your listing at any time (or remove it, if the group no longer meets). Once a year, you will receive a reminder notification to check and update your listing. In order to keep our listings as current and accurate as possible, we will unpublish listings that are not annually updated. If your group is not listed, please check with your group leader or send an email to community-groups [at] origamiusa.org.
