This elephant was included in the Danish origami society, foldning.dk's, contribution to the ZSL Whipsnade zoo BOS elephant Collection in September 2015. The model is intermediate level and is typical of my style of origami, with a stylized, almost cartoonish, representation of the subject. The elephant folds well from regular kami - a 15 cm (6") sheet of paper will produce a model app. 5 cm (2") tall - just big enough for the finish of the trunk and tail to be done without tweezers.
