The Forest Troll, inspired by figures from Scandinavian mythology, is recognizable by its pronounced snout, wide eyes, extended belly, stubby arms and legs, white fur, and generally pleasant demeanor. Though sometimes mistaken for a hippopotamus, it is quite unrelated. From my book Origami Odyssey: A Journey to the Edge of Paperfolding. Download consists of five pages with 49 steps. Advanced Intermediate with a couple of strange but highly rewarding collapse folds and some intricate work to produce the eyes and ears. Can be folded from a 10" or larger white square.
