I named this model "Simple Double Sink Dodecahedron," since the unit has fewer folds than that of any other recessed dodecahedron I have seen. Its folding sequence resembles the Sonobe unit's; the color pattern is like those of some Sonobe variations.
For the best lock, use paper that weighs 70 or more gsm and is at least as rough as printer paper. I would recommend this paper or washi paper. The roughness is important for providing enough friction between the pockets and tabs.
