Square Rhombus Twist [pdf]

A relatively easy rhombus "twist" tessellation that uses a square grid rather than a triangle grid. I enjoyed creating this model because it's a "recursive" tessellation; that is, you finish a molecule completely and then begin new molecules based on the new shape of the paper, as precreasing everything before hand would be very difficult. This method of folding tessellations leads to a tunnel effect, where the molecules overlap one another, which I personally really like the look of. I hope you have some fun folding this model since I definitely enjoyed designing it.
