This Storigami program takes the form of folding hearts -- 3 times -- to teach health messages appropriate for primary grades and above. The first heart is contributed to a giant, collaborative “Heart of Hearts” – similar to the AIDS quilt -- composed of many thousands of hearts made by people from all over the country. So far I have collected several thousand from around our state where I have taught this program in rural and urban schools, churches, and community events. The second can be used to assemble a banner or board I would like to display at the convention (perhaps at the Monday night dinner), and the third will contain a personal message each participant will take home.
