This class will be a group discussion on the different ways to use paper folding to teach math at ALL levels. The instructor, Tom, will have plenty of ideas to share from his experiences teaching high-school and college students, but everyone is welcome to bring their own ideas for what works (and what doesn't!). Tom will also talk about how origami-math is currently being used in science, since this can add a extra dimension to any classroom use of origami.
