Annual Gift 2023

In the past, we have asked for members to fold models for the Annual Gift which is provided to those attending the Origami Holiday Tree Lighting at the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH). We realize our members look forward to participating in this activity, which we have had to curtail during the past few years. We are looking for ways to bring back this activity for members.

As we have done since 2020, the Lehigh Valley Origami Enthusiasts group created the models given to the AMNH employees who attended the 2023 Tree Lighting event on November 21, 2023.

The model that was chosen this year, was Elephant by Michael LaFosse. This was in celebration of the AMNH exhibition, The Secret World of Elephants. Diagrams are provided below if you wish to fold and enjoy this model. (No more elephants are needed for this year's tree; please do not send completed models to the OrigamiUSA office.)
