If you’ve ever wondered how origami tessellations are designed, why they’re able to repeat infinitely, or how many different tessellation patterns are possible then I’ve got some good news for you!
I’ll be presenting three of the ways I’ve cracked the code to generate infinitely many origami tessellations in a series of three weekly lectures starting June 25.
These lectures will cover the theoretical side of applying symmetry to tilings in unusual ways, generating new tilings, or making tweaks to patterns for an hour, followed by 30 minutes of question and answer time where we can apply these ideas to create new designs.
The goal of these lectures is to give you ideas and strategies you can use to design your own favorite tessellations that nobody else has thought of before.
Attending these lectures is free, and you can register for full access to the lecture recordings and associated crease patterns for $40.
These lectures are part of my intermittent Advanced Twist Techniques events, so full access also gets you access to all 17+ hours of past ATT lecture and office hour recordings and another 80+ crease patterns from past lectures.
