These four Compound Twist patterns were discovered between July 2019 and March 2020. They represent the first explorations of a broad family of tessellations.

Each of these patterns can be folded directly from the grid, with no additional precreasing.

Crease patterns show several repeats of the motif. Red lines represent mountain folds and blue dashed lines represent valley folds.
