This model is one of Tom Hull's fun and flexible modular inventions using his Hybrid Unit. This model uses 5 squares to make a model that looks quite different on the top vs. the bottom. There are other models that can be made using different numbers of units --- and you can experiment to create your own models!

Advisories
  • This is a modular/composite requiring 5 sheets.

Supplies

You will need 5 squares of paper, all the same size; duo is highly recommended since a significant amount of each side of the paper will show. It is recommended to use squares that are at least 6" (15 cm) per side, and no bigger than 12" (30 cm) per side. This model will be fine with a variety of paper weights from kami to tant (or similar). Scrapbooking paper is probably too heavy unless it is a very lightweight version.
