Reading Diagrams

I’ll bring in some traditional models to the class and we’ll review some of the diagrams together as a group. Diagrams can be defined as a complex language that can be difficult to read. In this class, we’ll walk though some models together and fold a piece together. We’ll go through the basics of reading mountain and valley folds, as well as how the arrows work in your favor. From there, we’ll talk about common patterns you may see in diagrams and linking them to how they’re folded.
The scope of this class will only be of basic models and step by step diagrams. Crease patterns will not be discussed in this course.
