All origami diagrams start with step 1. The objective of this workshop is to provide an introduction to origami diagramming and some time to practice a little. We will start with basic diagramming concepts and then focus on computer tools. Vector graphics will be presented as well as basic operations. Finally, we will spend most of the time in a hands-on session. We will diagram a simple model from beginning to end. Time permitting, you should exit the class with a completed diagram. Because this is a practical session, please bring your own laptop with Inkscape installed. Inkscape is an open-source vector graphics editor that can be downloaded from http://www.inkscape.org/ . It runs on Windows, MacOS and Linux. It is a free version o Workshop, with hands-on participation by the students.
