This class was sold out at the OrigamiUSA Convention in June, so I thought it would be worth offering it again. Cherry Blossom is a beautiful flower made from 5 units. It is fun to make from a variety of papers. The unit is easy to fold and assembly is easy except, not surprisingly, for the last connection. I will show a variation where the tip of the petal is pointy instead of notched. The notched tip is more realistic, but the pointy tip is more secure. Students can make as many blossoms as time permits from a variety of 2 to 4 inch papers. I will show how to attach 2 or 3 blossoms with a pipe cleaner to make a fancy 3-D flower.
