The theme for this year’s delightful Origami Holiday Tree—our 54th—is New Beginnings; inspired by the latest exhibition at the museum: Impact: The End of the Age of Dinosaurs. This theme is wryly displayed as a dazzling asteroid threatens atop the tree. Dinosaurs descend down and around the tree while more modern animals and humans explode around them.The origami was made thanks to volunteers from around the U.S. and the world.
