At the most recent meeting of the OrigamiUSA Board of Directors, the Board voted to eliminate the distinction and requirements for Remote or Local Board members. From now on, any member may run for any Board seat for which they are otherwise eligible. All regular Board Meetings are held via web conferencing.

This change is effective immediately, and will affect the upcoming 2015 Board Elections.
