Light Up Origami!

Basic soldering techniques to add LEDs and batteries to origami to illuminate from within, a fun non-traditional twist. With some soldering skills and knowledge of electronic circuits, you can create the coolest lighting fixtures and decorations Add life to origami by having it flash or change color. The time needed varies with the number of solder joints used (i.e., how many LEDs added to an origami piece) and how large the class is. It is doable in one hour, but I prefer not to rush it. Workshop, with hands-on participation by the students.
