This wonderful open cube with four connecting cranes is made up of 18 pieces of paper of three different units and makes a gorgeous kusudama. Some of the assembly is tricky and requires patience and/or paper clips, but Kathy will provide tips along the way. She will also supply cord and beads to finish off this pretty decoration.

This is a delightful Akiko Yamanashi Rose Box. It has a masu box for the bottom. The lid has a twist rose module and four leaves. The rose with leaves attach to the lid as an insert, so the lid can also be used without the insert to hold a picture or other decoration. Arlene will also teach an insert/divider by Emiko Suzuki. Perfect for a special occasion gift.

He will also teach a clever Gift Box from one square. Both these models appear in Maekawa’s book Genuine Origami. But I want to learn it from Marcio!
