OrigamiUSA records our online classes that we provide through our Origami Connect program. In addition, we also record classes that are broadcast during our Convention and PCOC events. We would like to have these recordings organized and available for our archives and also to have the possibility of making them available for viewing and/or possible purchase or renting. We are looking for someone to help with organizing and editing these recordings.

Tasks:
- Download new/recent recordings from Zoom in MP4 format or archived recordings from Dropbox.
- Edit MP4 videos in a video editing program (e.g. iMovie, etc).  Edits include: Adding a title, Cutting out dead time during class, cropping, other edits as needed.
- Upload edited video to OrigamiUSA’s Vimeo account.
- Obtain permissions from the people visible in the video, for the videos to be available to be watched, rented or purchased, using a permissions process as defined by OrigamiUSA.

Skills needed:
- Knowledge of video editing software.
- Familiarity with transferring data.
- Good communication skills (working with the Origami Connect and Website teams).

Level of effort needed:
- There is a current backlog of about 75 videos to be processed.
- Future work will include the Origami Connect videos, usually 1-2 recordings per month.
- Future work will include online classes from conventions, usually 6-7 recordings per event.
- Possible expansion of duties (by mutual agreement, of course) as OrigamiUSA expands video recordings of classes. You will be invited to participate in those discussions!

Timeline & Availability:
- Start right away!
- Editing takes approximately 10 minutes (or less) per video.
- Uploading to Vimeo takes 2-3 hours (running in the background on your computer).
