I will describe the link between origami and the formation of large-scale structures in the Universe, such as galaxies and streams of galaxies called filaments; see e.g. http://arxiv.org/abs/1408.2219. I will bring crease patterns for rather easy origami "cosmic web" tessellations, but the emphasis will be on the lecture, rather than on folding these patterns.
