This is a model that benefits from using stiff, heavy paper-stock. That being said, it CAN be made from regular 'kami'. Various color-schemes can be used, including 1, 3, & 5... but we'll be using a simple 6-color scheme that creates 'equatorial' bands in 6 different directions.
