Designing New Corrugations

In the first part of the class you’ll be introduced to my creative process in designing square grid corrugations with volume. In the second, you’ll be taught a few basic molecules and how to combine them to realize some of my models (e.g., the one in the picture). Finally, using a trial-and-error approach, we will work together to find new variations and to invent a completely new pattern. I classified this lab as supercomplex mainly because it is not meant to be a teacher-led lesson. Although at the beginning you’ll be given a few hints and we will definitely play together, you will participate actively in the last part of the workshop.
