This samurai helmet was speedily designed for an office party where participants were required to “craft the most unique headpiece to represent one’s hobbies” for the event. The model is low intermediate level and has just a few tricky steps, the most tricky one being the spread squash in step 10. Pay attention when shaping the horns, and check step 27 for the result. The hat folds well from slightly stiff paper, and will work both as a small toy, and as a wearable hat. An 88 cm (34.5") sheet of paper will produce an app. size 7¼ (58) hat.
