Dog [pdf]

This is a set of instructions to fold an origami dog from a single square. The document consists of four pages and thirty-four illustrations. Although this is a intermediate level origami project, prior experience with reading origami diagrams is recommended.

This canine was intended to be generic looking, but a mechanical dog from Dr Who provided some inspiration. The robotic element is in the way the head twists off of the body.
