Map Folding Models

Map 1 is based on the popular small city pop-out maps. We will fold the map and glue it to a cover. This model can be the basis for a pop-out card as well. Map 2 is a fan-folded map that is surprisingly well-behaved. We will do Map 3 time permitting. The image shows Map 1 unfolded. These models involve glue and/or cutting. Maps and cover material will be provided. Bring your own maps if you wish and scissors if possible. I will bring glue and a few pairs of scissors to share. Workshop, with hands-on participation by the students.
