Out at Sea [pdf]

Folded from a square, Out at Sea features a boat riding the vast waves of the ocean. Shaping the ocean provides a unique challenge as it heavily depends on how the folder wants the end result to look. The diagrams provide one way to shape the ocean but should not be taken as a strict guide. Partial wetfolding is recommended for shaping.

This model was designed in 2011, and diagrams were originally published in the 2012 East Bay Origami Convention book. Diagrams have since been revised for clarity.
