Modular with Crossed Pleats [pdf]

This model is composed of six modules with crossing strips created by pleat folds on either side of the strips. There are two variations – one without a color change for the strips and one with a color change. It works well with a variety of patterned papers. Although it is fairly simple to implement (low intermediate), it might edge slightly into the intermediate range because of the requirement for precise folding so that the strips can be interlocked neatly.
