Description:
Infinity is a recursive modular design. Each unit is folded from one square and eight units are assembled to create a star. Consecutively smaller stars are then folded and assembled to create a spiral. You can theoretically fold and connect as many stars as you’d like since this is a recursive design. The model pictured has eight iterations of stars.
Supplies:
In this class, you will learn how to fold the units, assemble the units into stars, and connect the stars to create a spiral. You will need 8 square sheets of paper for the first iteration. I recommend 3” (15cm) squares of duo paper for your first time. You will also need to come prepared with extra paper and paper cutting / measuring tools to cut the paper for each additional iteration.
