Description

The model is a Rhombic Hexecontahedron (which is a stellation of the Rhombic Triacontahedron), comprised of 60 golden rhombi. We’ll start by creating a template that will help us to prepare 60 golden rectangles.

Supplies

12 squares of 8 inch (20cm) paper. Kami, kraft or regular copy paper (20/21lb bond) all work well with this model. 10 squares will be used for the units and 2 for templates. For a striking color arrangement, I recommend using 5 colors, 2 sheets of each. To cut the papers to size you’ll need: a craft knife, metal rule and cutting mat, or an 'Envelopener' style paper cutter.
