This useful modular unit by Tomoko Fuse can be put together in an endless variety of ways and color combinations. Many variations will be explored in this class. Your imagination is the only limit to bring out the origami artist in you.

Brighten your day with this tweet! Learn how to fold Roman Diaz’ cardinal for an endearing, 3-D bird with its clever color change. With other color combinations, it turns into a Waxwing or a Blue Jay. Depending on time, you will make two or more color versions. Talo will give you plenty of tips for shaping and prepping paper for color changes. Makes a great shelf, plant, or tree ornament, or just let it perch on your finger.
Halloween Spider
Eek! Creepy crawlies! Celebrate Halloween all year long with this realistic and not-so-scary spider. Folded from a square, it has an arachnid’s requisite 8 legs, which is no easy task. Rest assured that John will help you tame those challenging moves. Conquer your arachnophobia and have a blast doing it. More models will be taught as time permits.
Family Fun - Favorite Models
Wendy will teach her favorite models including some great action models that move and a happy crown that turns an ordinary day into a party! This class is a great opportunity for families to explore the magic of origami together. No experience is necessary. For Family Fun (beginner) classes you must be at least 5 years old. Children between 5 and 8 must have a parent or guardian register and take the class with them. Adults unaccompanied by children are also welcome.
Dollar - Tall and Big Man Shirt and Tie
Well in time for Father’s Day, this marvelous model is a breeze. It can be made from a dollar bill (please bring your own fresh bills) or a half sheet of kami. Other than your own fingers, a toothpick can be helpful to form the tie, depending on how thin you want to make it. Go thin for the 50’s or go wide for the 70’s. It also makes a great tip for that attentive waiter.
Flower Box and Rose Variation
