The poison dragon is a strange but very cool design that looks really neat. This is a very complex class with a lot of 3d steps, some weird collapses, and a decent amount of pre-creasing, however it is very fun to fold and gives a nice final product.
Advisories:
- This will likely take longer than the completed class time to complete.
- You should be comfortable with open and closed sinks, models being 3d for multiple steps in a row, spread squash folds, and swivel folds. In addition to all of this, there is a lot of shaping that can be done. In this class the goal is to finish just the base of the model, and leave the shaping up to you.
Supplies:
For paper, you should use something with duo colors. There is a lot of stress and tension on the paper at some parts though, so using kami would be risky but doable, but I would recommend something like double tissue. I would also recommend using something 35cm or larger, especially if you want to have good shaping. I would also advise bringing a few binder clips or clothespins for shaping, but it isn't necessary.
