Get ready for another weekend of folding in the Windy City! COcon 2024 will be held March 8–10, 2024, and once again we will be at the DoubleTree by Hilton Magnificent Mile. The hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants, shopping, and world-class museums, and is just a few blocks away from beautiful Lake Michigan. Chicago

Details:

  • Two full days of classes from beginner to complex on Saturday and Sunday.
  • Registration is limited to the first 125 people taking classes! There will be a wait list once we are full.
  • There is a discount for OrigamiUSA members, but membership is not required.
  • Enjoy the company of fellow folders in the community folding room, which will remain open for late-night folding on Friday and Saturday.
  • Origami Exhibition and Sales (free to the public Sat/Sun).

Friday, March 8

Friday night begins with check-in at 7:00 pm, Exhibition setup, and community folding and socializing.

Saturday, March 9

Saturday is the first day of classes. Check-in begins at 8:30 am; classes run from 10:00am–5:00pm. Saturday night is a buffet dinner. Exhibition and vendor area will be open all day long, with community folding into the night.

Sunday, March 10

Sunday is the second day of classes. Check-in begins at 8:30 am; classes run from 10:00am–5:00pm. Exhibition will be open until 4:00 pm; the community folding room will be open until 11:45 pm.
