We will work on turning origami into wearable art. Students may bring models to mount on findings and accent with beads etc. or they may fold miniatures. No specific models will be taught, but we'll discuss the traditional favorites and a few surprises. We will discuss treatments for paper to make it more durable but will NOT use any toxic substances in class? We'll stick to Modge Podge. Tools will be provided to share. Gluing or other paper treatment is not required but will be discussed. We will use only nontoxic substances. A variety of small paper types, jewelry findings, beads, and baubles will be provided. Come prepared to share.
