Shovel Folding

Shovel folding is a powerful technique using box-pleating to make line-drawing-like models without any major collapses. Class includes an introduction to basic techniques followed by an example model (FOLD) to demonstrate how the techniques work together. The first half is lecture which can be followed with or without aping the techniques. The second half teaches a model to demonstrate how the individual techniqes work together, so significant class participation is expected.
