Starts with a square and has octagonal twists. Accurate precreasing required. Experience with twist folding is helpful. I plan to teach the model twice, once from 6 inch Kami to practice and again from 6 inch Opalescent origami paper, which I will provide. The model works best from higher quality thin paper as the multiple creases create a lot of wear and tear on the paper.
