This is a modular design using American business cards. It represents the crystal structure of carbon atoms in diamond. There are two modules: one for the carbon atoms and one for the chemical bonds between them. The model uses two distinct modules and can be made as large or small as you like; the number of modules is potentially infinite. We will start with 15 modules because each carbon atom uses 6 units of one kind and the bonds between them take 3 of the other kind, so a minimal presentation would require two carbon atoms and one bond for a total of 15 modules.
