In 1958 Lillian Oppenheimer introduced origami to this country. Her legacy is the founding of this organization and her superlative skills as a teacher. Her first lesson is a basic lesson suitable for all ages and levels. Through a series of simple folds this workshop will cover origami words and concepts such as mountain fold, valley fold, inside reverse, blintz, minor miracle and check point charlie. The class will hopefully cover the magazine box, flapping bird, jumping frog, and swan.
