Complex origami usually starts with a newly invented base, but traditional bases can still sometimes be used to make new and interesting models. One particularly interesting traditional base is the blintzed little bird base, known in Japanese as Zabugoto. We will fold this complex colorful little bird without diagrams, so be prepared to look and listen!
