This is the traditional star woven from four strips of paper made famous by Friedrich Fröbel who incorporated them, along with other paper-folding exercises, as educational play materials into his 1840 invention known as "kindergarten". Students will have a good opportunity to master the technique in the time allotted and go home each having produced two or three stars. This course is open to students at all levels of experience. NON-FOLDERS ARE PARTICULARLY INVITED TO ATTEND. All materials will be supplied by instructor.
