Non-square paper

If we start with a piece of paper cut in any regular polygon shape and apply symmetric folding, the result will show many surprisingly interesting patterns. Hence the name I gave to this new design: Polygonal Medallion. In this class two pentagon based examples will be presented. The attendees will have hands-on experience to understand this new idea using pre-cut printed papers to make medallion-like geometrically beautiful objects. Precut printed papers will be provided for this session and the attendants are required to make precise scoring along the diagram lines in order to produce perfectly symmetric patterns.
